Umar Sadiq

Umar Sadiq is currently a Communications Officer at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where they have worked since 2015. They possess extensive experience in non-profit organization management and are skilled in internal and external communications, media relations, media monitoring, international humanitarian law, and strategic communications. Prior to their role at ICRC, Umar was a producer and journalist at the Nigerian Television Authority from 2009 to 2015. Umar earned a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of Maiduguri in 2007.
