Wafa ELSHAWA

Wafa ELSHAWA is a healthcare professional with extensive experience in pharmacy and emergency response coordination. Wafa served as Head of Pharmacy at The Palestinian Medical Relief Society and as Head Pharmacist at Terre des hommes foundation. Wafa held multiple roles within Médecins Sans Frontières, including Emergency Response Coordinator, ICU Facilitator, Deputy Nursing Activity Manager, and Medical Liaison Officer. Recently, Wafa contributed to the International Committee of the Red Cross in various capacities, including Hospital Surgical Capacity Building and Medical Quality Assurance & Regulatory Project Officer-Pharmacist. Wafa holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Al-Azhar University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Health Services Management at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
