Stephan Roche is an ICREA Research Professor who leads the Theoretical and Computational Nanoscience Group at ICN2, focusing on transport properties of graphene-based materials and topological insulators. Roche has participated in several significant research networks, including the Graphene Flagship, and has served on the organizing committee for the International Conference Graphene 20XX Series. Previously, Roche was the Vice-President of the ANR Simulation program and has held roles at prestigious institutions such as the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique and the European Commission. They hold a Ph.D. and Habilitation in Theoretical Physics from the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon and the University Joseph-Fourier. Currently, Roche is also the Editor in Chief of J. Phys. Materials.
