Ian Sossen

Ian Sossen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ian currently works as a Business Development Specialist at IC Realtime since 2022.

From 2019 to 2022, Ian held the role of New Business Development at Visiontron – The People Guidance Pros, where they developed and managed clientele in the major and minor league sports industry, live entertainment and arts venues, universities & colleges, and the marketing and experiential industries. This role also involved national travel to clients.

Prior to that, Ian worked as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson at Anchor Associates Group from 2017 to 2019.

Ian's entrepreneurial experience includes being the President of BY Trading LLC, where they developed and marketed GIA certified diamonds on behalf of Israeli based manufacturers from 2012 to 2017. Ian also founded Signature Diamond Enterprises LLC and served as the Vice President of Sales from 2005 to 2012, where they were responsible for developing new clientele and managing a sales team.

Ian's earlier career involved roles such as VP Sales at Eliazarov Reuven & Sons Diamonds Ltd, where they managed the Hong Kong subdivision of an Israeli manufacturer and exporter of polished diamonds. Ian also held the position of General Manager at Miller Freeman, overseeing diamond and jewelry magazines and leading the development of the trade show "Israel the Source."

Ian's career started as a Sales Manager at Kompass Israel, where they successfully brought in new clients and eventually developed a joint venture with the publisher of Mazal U'Bracha diamond magazine. This led to their promotion to the General Manager role at Miller Freeman Israel.

Overall, Ian has demonstrated expertise in business development, sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship across various industries throughout their career.

Ian Sossen attended the University of the Witwatersrand from 1981 to 1983, where they studied Business without obtaining a degree. In 2002, they attended the Gemological Institute of America and obtained a Diamond Graduate degree. In terms of additional certifications, Ian Sossen obtained a New York Real Estate License from A1 Real Estate & Insurance Institute in March 2017. Ian also holds the AGS RS certification from the American Gem Society and the GIA DG certification from GIA, although the specific details of when and where they obtained these certifications are unknown.
