Matt B. has over twelve years of experience in the software engineering industry. Matt began their career in 2008 as an Embedded Developer at TEXA, where they developed a Human Machine Interface for a tabled based oscilloscope featuring bluetooth communication. In the same year, they joined Tecnofon SRL as a Software Developer and Building Automation Specialist, where they led the design and development of the entire building automation Company's product line. In 2011, Matt joined Ennova Research as an Embedded Software Developer and worked on several projects, including being a member of the Red-V team. In 2013, Matt joined Wunder-Bar as the Director of Software Development, providing software solutions for one of the leading beverage companies. Matt also served as Lead Software Engineer for the Cloudflo project, working on a wireless ecosystem of interconnected devices. In 2017, Matt joined Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. (ICS) as a Software Architect. In this role, they work with top tier companies in automotive, medical and industrial fields to help customers deliver well engineered solutions. Matt currently focuses on Linux, C++, Qt and Python.
Matt B. holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, which they obtained between 2007 and 2012. Matt also holds a Diploma in Computer Science from ITIS C. Zuccante, which they obtained in 2006. Additionally, Matt B. has obtained three certifications, including an ARRL Amateur Radio - Technician License from ARRL, The national association for Amateur Radio in August 2019, an Introduction to Big Data from University of California San Diego in March 2017, and an Introduction to Real-Time Systems from edX in April 2016.
