Timothy Guider

Timothy Guider, PE, CEM has a diverse work experience in the energy efficiency and engineering field. Timothy currently holds the position of Director of Development & Engineering at ICS, where they lead a team in developing and implementing projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Their responsibilities include strategic facility master planning for school districts and guaranteed energy savings projects in various sectors. Prior to their current role, Timothy worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at ICS, where they were involved in similar projects in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Before joining ICS, Timothy worked at Johnson Controls as an Engineering Manager for the Pennsylvania & West Virginia Market Team. In this role, they were responsible for designing conceptual solutions for energy solutions projects and managing the development process. Timothy also served as an Energy Solutions Development Engineer at Johnson Controls, where they developed energy efficiency projects for various clients in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Timothy's early career includes roles as an Energy Consultant at Lehigh University, where they performed industrial energy assessments and provided detailed reports on findings, and as an Energy Engineering Intern at the Electrotechnology Applications Center, where they conducted investment grade energy assessments and determined recommendations and payback periods for customers.

Timothy Guider, PE, CEM completed their education at Lehigh University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General in the years 2012-2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Lehigh University from 2007 to 2008. Mr. Guider began their educational journey at Moravian University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, they have also obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Pennsylvania State Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in September 2019. Furthermore, they hold the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers. Timothy Guider also possesses the LEED GA certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
