Allison Wallen

Allison Wallen is a seasoned professional in higher education with extensive experience in student success, career readiness, and academic support. Currently serving as a Career Readiness Specialist at ICSC since November 2025, Wallen previously held the position of Assistant Director of Student Success, Transition and Retention at American University from February 2024 to November 2025. Prior to that, Wallen worked as a University Studies Adjunct Professor and Success Coach at George Mason University, contributing to curriculum development, facilitating student engagement, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance student support services. Wallen also served as a PACT Counselor at Mercy College, focusing on programs for second-year students to foster academic success and community engagement. Wallen holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication, both from Buffalo State University.
