Marcus Ahlberg has extensive work experience in software engineering, with a focus on embedded software development. Marcus started their career as a Process Operator at Borealis in 2004, where they worked during the summer as a temp.
In 2011, Marcus joined Cybercom as a Consultant, specializing in the development of baseband software for WCDMA at Ericsson. Marcus also worked on porting real-time applications from OSE to Embedded Linux.
In 2016, Marcus joined Volvo Group as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the development of electrical platforms for powertrain ECUs. Their responsibilities included I/O, electrical diagnostics, CAN communication, build environment, and continuous integration.
In 2018, Marcus moved to Veoneer as a Software Engineer, where they focused on vehicle integration for stereo vision camera ECUs. Marcus worked on redesigning monolithic applications for better performance and implementing freedom from interference using AUTOSAR RTE.
In 2020, Marcus returned to Volvo Group as a Software Engineer. Marcus worked on various projects, including supporting the development of a customer's software platform, adapting software for autonomous haulers, and automating test suites for ECU bootloader release verification.
Finally, in 2022, Marcus joined Hasselblad as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they continue to use their expertise in embedded software development.
Marcus Ahlberg obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology. Additionally, they received certifications in Machine Learning, Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1, and Heterogeneous Parallel Programming from Coursera in December 2013, March 2013, and January 2013, respectively.
