Derek Smith

Derek Smith is a Lead Product Designer and UX Strategist at iCube, where they lead product design efforts and facilitate workshops that leverage design thinking and user research for government contracts. Previously, they served as the Product Design Lead at Best Egg, establishing design processes and documentation systems. With over 15 years of experience, Derek has held UX architect roles at IBM and Charles Schwab, managing user-centered design projects and creating essential design patterns. They hold an MA in Human-Computer Interaction from the State University of New York College at Oswego, where they achieved a 4.0 GPA.
