Chris Chan

Chris Chan has over 15 years of work experience in the compliance research and lab operations field. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Compliance Research at ICW and the Lab Operation Director at QIMA. Prior to this, they were the Senior Manager, Regional Lab at Mattel Asia Pacific from 2017 to 2021, the Senior Technical Services Manager, Softlines at SGS from 2015 to 2017, the Technical Manager, Global Chemical at Intertek from 2013 to 2015, the Chemical Laboratory Manager at UL-ICQ from 2010 to 2013, and they held various roles at Intertek from 2006 to 2010, including Assistant Manager, Chemical Lab of Toys and Hardlines, Supervisor, Chemical Lab of Toys and Hardlines, and Research Chemist, Chemical Lab of Toys and Hardlines.

Chris Chan obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Chemistry from City University of Hong Kong between 2000 and 2003. Chris then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Analytical Chemistry from the same institution between 2003 and 2007. In 2011 and 2012, they completed a Certificate in Microbiology Testing from The University of Hong Kong.
