Michael Kostoff

Michael Kostoff is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial services and investment consulting. Currently serving as a Partner at Blu Venture Investors since October 2010, Kostoff specializes in angel and early-stage investments in the mid-Atlantic region. As the Managing Partner of The Kostoff Group since April 2008, Kostoff consults for financial services firms in private banking, wealth management, and retirement services. Additional roles include Partner at WISE Gateway, LLC, where strategic advice is offered to wealth managers, and Board Observer at ID.me. Kostoff has also held positions such as Member of the Advisory Board at WashingtonFirst Bank and Chairman of the Board of Directors at 1st Portfolio Wealth Advisors. Prior to these roles, Kostoff was the Executive Director of the Financial Services Practice at CEB from 1989 to 2008. Academically, Kostoff holds a B.S. in International Relations from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and an MSSI in Strategic Intelligence from the Defense Intelligence College.
