Colum Lyons is the founder and CEO of ID-Pal, an award-winning, ISO 27001 and 9001 certified identity verification solution launched in March 2016 that facilitates real-time identity and address verification for businesses. Lyons also serves as an Advisory Council Member with the Association of Document Validation Professionals since October 2023, an advisor on the Ireland for Finance Industry Advisory Council appointed by the Minister of State for Financial Services, and a member of the Technology Ireland Council, representing the technology sector in Ireland. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Stockbroker at Cantor Fitzgerald, a Proprietary Futures Trader at Positive Equity, a Sales Trader and Head of Trading at Delta Index, and a Data Analyst/Market Researcher at Interactive Data. Colum Lyons holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin, awarded in 2002.
