Jess Gerjets

Jess Gerjets began their work experience in 2011 as President of the AIGA Atlanta Student Board, where they organized events and facilitated meetings. Jess then served as Vice President for two terms. In 2012, Jess worked as a Design Team Member for The Coca-Cola Company. Jess continued to gain experience as a Freelance Designer for various companies, including The Real Dave Moore, Mizuno USA, and Vista Branding. In 2014, they joined Porchlight as a Designer and later became a Freelance Designer for the same company. Jess also served on the Communications and Membership Committees for AIGA Atlanta during this time. In 2017, Jess joined id8 agency as a Contract Designer. Jess later transitioned to Jess Gerjets Design as a Designer before rejoining id8 as a Senior Designer. Jess then progressed to the role of Associate Art Director before becoming the Vice President of Creative in 2022. Throughout their career, Jess has showcased their expertise in branding, packaging design, and strategy.

Jess Gerjets completed a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of West Georgia from 2006 to 2010. Following that, from 2011 to 2012, Jess pursued a Certificate in Graphic Design from Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center.
