Daniel Tabas Madrid

Daniel Tabas Madrid is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at IDBS since January 2022, Daniel previously held the position of Principal AI Engineer at PerkinElmer, Inc., where contributions focused on developing innovative capabilities in diagnostics and pharmaceutical research. Daniel's background includes roles as a Senior Analytics Solution Developer, Bioinformatician, and Software Developer, with a strong emphasis on omics data analysis and the creation of analytical tools. Daniel earned a PhD in Bioinformatics, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
