Karen D.

Karen D. has a robust background in software engineering and development, currently serving as Lead Software Engineer and People Leader at IDBS since September 2021. Previously, Karen held multiple roles at IDBS from 2012 to 2020, including Lead Developer and Manager, and Senior Developer. Prior experience includes working as an Agile Developer at Avaya from 2009 to 2012, where Karen implemented web services and optimized code using Jira. At Nortel, from 1998 to 2009, Karen was part of a scrum team that prototyped the Agile Communications Environment (ACE) product, influencing strategic direction and developing expertise in parlay-x web service WSDLs. Education includes a Master of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical Engineering with Communications and German from Swansea University, completed in 1998.
