Mike Last

Mike Last is a seasoned software architect currently at IDBS, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining an architectural roadmap and best practices for the company's products since April 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a technical lead at M&G plc from October 2018 to April 2021, where Mike was instrumental in designing and building technical architecture during the company's digital transformation. Mike also has a long tenure at Prudential plc from April 1998 to October 2018, progressing through several roles, including lead engineer in the IT Innovation Lab, where leadership and innovation were emphasized, and contributions to multiple hackathons were made. Mike's technical expertise encompasses Java, SQL, SOA concepts, and a variety of development frameworks and tools.
