Amber Chin

Amber Chin is a Research Director at IDC since 2015, previously serving as a Principal Analyst for Huawei Technologies where responsibilities included managing the research framework for the Global Connectivity Index, a key component of Huawei's Better Connected World campaign. Prior to this, Amber worked at IDC as a Research Manager, focusing on demand-side research across Asia Pacific and managing end-user surveys. Earlier experience includes a role at AG Capital Sdn Bhd in research and business development, achieving significant mortgage sales shortly after joining. Amber holds a Master of Science in Statistics from National Chengchi University.
