Andrew Buss

Andrew Buss is currently a Senior Research Director at IDC since April 2013, specializing in European research related to IT Infrastructure from core to edge to cloud, with a focus on trends impacting servers, storage, networking, and IT service delivery. Andrew's previous roles at IDC include Research Director for European Infrastructure Strategies and Edge Strategies, as well as Consulting Director and Manager in Datacentre Infrastructure and Client Devices. Prior to IDC, Andrew served as Service Director for Access & Infrastructure at Freeform Dynamics, where expertise in IT infrastructure evaluation and management was developed. Andrew began a career at Canalys as an Associate Consultant and Principal Analyst, following a consultancy role at Sunrise Software Limited. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Management of Intellectual Property from Queen Mary University of London and a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Durham University.
