Dave Pearson

Dave Pearson is a distinguished Research Vice President at IDC, currently leading the Infrastructure Systems, Platforms, and Technologies Group since December 2022, and previously served as Research Vice President for Infrastructure Solutions at IDC Canada since 2009. Pearson's expertise encompasses a broad range of infrastructure technologies, including traditional compute, storage, networking, security hardware, edge computing, hybrid and multi-cloud deployments, as well as cognitive computing and infrastructure software. Prior to joining IDC, Pearson owned Stratis IT Services from January 2002 to January 2009, providing assessment, design, and development services to small and medium businesses in Southwestern Ontario. Pearson holds a degree from Queen's University, earned from 1992 to 1996.
