Greg Looby

Greg Looby serves as the Vice President of Strategic FP&A at IDG, a position held since March 2021, where leadership encompasses financial planning and analysis for the IDC market intelligence, advisory services, and events business, including oversight of forecast and budget cycles for global product lines, functions, and regions. Prior to IDG, Looby accumulated extensive experience at EMC from 1998 to April 2020, advancing through various finance roles including Director of Finance for Professional Services Pricing Operations, where responsibility included pricing and costing for a $2B business, and multiple controller positions focusing on financial reporting, maintenance revenue forecasting, and general financial analysis. Looby's career began at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Senior Auditor after earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics/Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.
