Jonathan Lang

Jonathan Lang is a Research Director at IDC, specializing in Worldwide IT/OT Convergence Strategies since October 2019, delivering strategic insights in IT and Operations Technologies, including AI and the Internet of Things. Previously, from March 2016 to October 2019, Jonathan served as the Lead Principal Business Analyst at PTC, where objective analysis and market insights were provided to enhance corporate marketing efforts. Jonathan also worked at IDC as a Senior Client Relationship Manager from June 2013 to March 2016, managing relationships with technology professionals and supporting their strategic initiatives. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Research Analyst and Project Lead at Verbatim Advisory Group, conducting primary research in the Retail and Restaurant sectors. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Rhode Island, completed in 2009, and graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School in 2004.
