Jordan Speer

Jordan Speer currently serves as the Research Director for Product Sourcing, Fulfillment, and Sustainability at IDC, a position held since October 2019, with a focus on global research for supply chain execution systems. Previous roles include Research Manager in the same department and in global supply chain, contributing to initiatives that enhance efficiency for retailers and technology vendors. From 2007 to October 2019, Jordan was Editor in Chief of Apparel Magazine, after progressing from Senior Editor and Associate Editor—experience that encompassed managing comprehensive coverage of the apparel supply chain. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in English from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s degree in English and French from the University of Virginia. Specialties include sustainability, PLM, RFID, and performance fabrics.
