Currently serving as the Senior Research Director for Worldwide Small and Medium Business Research at IDC since May 2024, Katie leads efforts to address the unique needs of technology buyers within the small and medium business sector. Prior to this role, Katie held various editorial positions at Internet Retailer from 2012 to 2021, including Chief Technology Editor and Managing Editor of International Research, where significant contributions to mobile commerce and global e-commerce coverage were made. Additional experience includes communications management at Orbitz Worldwide and editor roles at optionsXpress Holdings, Inc. and SourceMedia. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Bradley University, complemented by international study through the Fulbright Program and institutions such as the University of Ljubljana and Stirling University.
