Mark Child

Mark Child serves as the Associate Research Director at IDC since February 2004, overseeing research schedules, market surveys, and consulting engagements while fostering client relationships and business development. Previously, Mark held various roles within IDC, including Research Manager for the Software & Security sector in the CEE region, where responsibilities included managing market studies and leading IDC's CEE Security program. Mark is also experienced in the European security market, focusing on endpoint security and identity management. Prior to IDC, Mark worked as an editor at the Prague Business Journal and as an editor and programmer at NFO AISA. Mark holds a BSc in Biology and Geography from the University of Brighton.
