Nigel Wallis

Nigel Wallis has over two decades of experience in the technology research field, currently serving as Research VP for Americas Industry Insights at IDC since August 2003. In this role, Nigel is responsible for launching vertically focused global research subscription services for the technology vendor community and enhancing collaboration among global teams. Previous positions at IDC include Vice President of IoT and Industries, where focus was on analyzing technology adoption across Canadian industries, Research Director for Vertical Markets and New Initiatives, and Research Manager for Application Services. Prior to joining IDC, Nigel worked as an Analyst at CGI, managing the Market Intelligence Centre. Nigel holds a degree from Queen's University.
