Phil Hirons

Phil Hirons has extensive experience in software development and political advisory roles. As a Principal Developer at IDC since March 2005, Phil specializes in designing market share tracking tools utilizing technologies such as Oracle, Java, JSP, Struts, Spring, and AJAX, along with customized Salesforce development and administration. Phil has served as Parliamentarian for the RI Republican Party since April 2014, advising the State Chair on parliamentary procedures. From 1999 to November 2013, Phil was the Chair of the Smithfield Republican Town Committee. Prior experience includes a Contract Developer role at CVS from 2003 to 2004, focused on Visual Basic and Oracle applications, and a Help Desk position at Corporate Software/Stream International from 1994 to 1996. Phil holds a High School Diploma from WVMHS awarded in 1986 and attended Rhode Island College from 1986 to 1987.
