Ron Babin

Adjunct Researcher

Ron Babin is a Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University, previously known as Ryerson University, with a career in academia beginning in January 2006. Babin teaches IT management to MBA and undergraduate students while conducting research on global IT outsourcing and social & environmental responsibility. In addition to teaching, Babin has held various leadership positions including President of the Ryerson Faculty Association and has served as an Adjunct Researcher at IDC specializing in outsourcing and vendor management. Previous experience includes roles as Program Director at York University's Schulich Executive Education Centre and Chair of the Board of Directors for the Centre for Outsourcing Research and Education. Babin's extensive industry background includes partner positions at Accenture and KPMG, as well as management consultancy at Nolan, Norton & Co. Babin holds a Doctor of Business Administration from The University of Manchester and an MBA from York University's Schulich School of Business.
