Steen Helles

Steen Helles is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital transformation and IT management across various industries. Currently serving as a member of IDC's European Digital Advisory Board since 2023, Steen has held significant roles including Transformation Advisor and Head of Group Data Transformation at Semler Gruppen A/S from 2019 to 2025, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing data and analytics for Denmark's largest car importer and retailer. Previous positions include Digital Project Director at FLSmidth, focusing on Robotic Process Automation, and as Program Manager responsible for implementing a cloud-based HR system. Steen also served as Group CIO and Group COO at Ikano Group, overseeing IT and project functions, and held the position of CIO at Maersk Tankers, managing IT strategy and operations. Steen holds degrees in Computer Sciences from the University of Copenhagen and Organization from Copenhagen Business School.
