Tom Mainelli

Tom Mainelli has extensive experience in the technology research and journalism sectors, currently serving as Group Vice President at IDC since July 2006, with previous roles including Program Vice President, Research Director, Research Manager, and Senior Research Analyst. Prior to IDC, Tom Mainelli worked at PC World Magazine from September 1999 to July 2006, where responsibilities included Senior Editor, Associate Editor, and News Reporter. Tom Mainelli began his career at Smart Computing from December 1995 to July 1999 as Editor. An alumnus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Tom Mainelli earned a Bachelor of Journalism between 1989 and 1994.
