Alex Algieri

Alex Algieri has held several positions in the IT field over the past decade. In 2017, they joined Idea Financial as a Senior System Manager. Prior to that, they worked at the Miami-Dade State Attorney Office as a Senior System Administrator from 2010-2017. In this role, they oversaw daily information systems operations and managed a network of more than 900 employees. Alex also introduced and maintained applications such as Skype for Business 2015, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012, Veeam Backup and Replication, Microsoft Data Protection Manager 2012, HP Systems Insight Manager, Microsoft Hyper-V, SQL 2012, and Windows 8. Before that, they worked at the State Attorney's Office, Florida's 11th Judicial Circuit as a Senior Network Engineer from 2010-2017. In this role, they worked with Microsoft ISA 2006/2010, Microsoft IIS/FTP's ver. 7.5, Microsoft File servers, Microsoft Exchange 2003-2010-2013 and O365, Microsoft DC's, Microsoft Print Servers, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Terminal Services Server/Citrix xenapp and xenserver, Microsoft SharePoint setup, Microsoft WSUS server, Microsoft SCCM server, SAN's, AWS, HP Data Protector, Veeam, Polycom IP technology, Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business, HP SIM Server, Card Access 2000 Server, RIM/BlackBerry, and VMware/vSphere ESXi 4.

Alex Algieri began their educational journey in 1992 when they earned an Associate of Arts in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the University of Miami. In 2000, they attended Fastrain and studied Computer Science until 2001. In 2014, they attended Miami Dade College to study Computer Science. Additionally, in 2004, Alex obtained three certifications from CompTIA (A+), Microsoft (MCP), and CompTIA (N+).
