Sam Allen

Sam Allen is an accomplished learning and development professional, currently serving as the Global Head of Learning and Development at Ideagen since January 2024. Previous experience includes leading the central L&D function at Cazoo, where responsibilities encompassed strategy design and overall L&D offerings, as well as establishing Insightful L&D to focus on agile environments. As an L&D Consultant at St. Modwen, Sam developed organizational learning infrastructures and competency frameworks. Earlier roles at Whitbread and Argos involved advancing management teams through targeted development programs, while initial HR experience at Home Retail Group established a foundation in policy review and HR administration. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Coventry University and a BA Hons in Applied English Language Studies from the University of Reading.
