With a modest beginning in 2002, Ideal Group of Companies has made giant strides in the fields of manufacturing and marketing of high-performance doors. The brand has emerged as a prominent Fire Door Solutions provider in the UAE and neighboring GCC states.

In 2005, its manufacturing division was centralized under Ideal Special Products FZC & its marketing arm called Firestop Trading Establishment was established with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Qatar in addition to agency arrangements in Oman & Bahrain. With its exclusive mineral core products, the company’s Fire Door Solutions are well known and readily accepted by all leading government bodies, consultants, contractors, developers, etc in the Middle East.

Ideal has certifications and approvals based on actual test evidence from international laboratories like Exova Warrington (UK, previously known as Chiltern International Fire Lab), PSB Lab (Singapore), etc. Many prestigious projects in the UAE bear testimony to the high quality associated with Ideal’s products. The company's commitment to continuous product development, supported by its in-house R&D resources, makes its products the ideal choice for high-end projects.

With new verticals being added, the group restructured its brand architecture in 2023, creating sub-brands like Ideal Firestop and Ideal Fit Outs under the mother brand Ideal.
