Tim Burns

Tim Burns is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Ideal Power. Tim has over 20 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry. Prior to joining Ideal Power, they were the Executive Vice President at Rainmaker from November 2010 to February 2013. Tim also served as the Director of Corporate Accounting at Dean Foods from October 2001 to November 2010. Tim began their career as a Senior at Deloitte & Touche from January 1999 to October 2001. Tim is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Tim Burns has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the University of Southern California. Tim is certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
