Gabriel Kramer

Gabriel Kramer is an experienced media professional currently serving as the host of "NewsDepth" at Ideastream Public Media since August 2016, where a weekly newscast is produced for K-12 students and aired on WVIZ-TV. In addition to hosting, Kramer has worked as a reporter and producer, creating diverse content for TV, radio, and digital platforms, including long-form features and a national PBS documentary, while also serving as Ideastream’s first dedicated reporter on race and inclusion. Previous roles include associate producer at WVIZ & WCPN, color commentator for Q92 Radio, and general manager of TV2 KSU, the student-run cable station at Kent State University, where Kramer was the first minority general manager. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Kent State University.
