Wade Giddens

Wade Giddens is a seasoned broadcasting professional with extensive experience in radio engineering and operations. Currently serving as a Senior Radio Broadcast Engineer at Ideastream Public Media since January 2023, Wade has previously held positions such as Broadcast Engineer at Troy University from August 2007 to January 2023, and Engineer at Troy Broadcasting Corporation from June 2005 to January 2023. Wade began a career in broadcasting as an Announcer at Companion Broadcasting from March 2003 to August 2007 and has also worked as Operations Manager and Chief Engineer at Opp Broadcasting Company between May 1992 and March 2003. Wade holds a Master of Science in Foundations of Education from Troy University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Speech Communication. Additional educational credentials include an Associate of Arts from LBW Community College and an Associate in Applied Technology in Communication Electronics from Douglas MacArthur State Technical College.
