Philippe Depraeter serves as the VP of the Research & Technology Unit at IDEMIA since October 2017, overseeing the development of artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies. Previously, Philippe held various roles at Morpho (SAFRAN) from November 2008 to October 2017, including Project Director, where major international strategic projects and R&D in secure elements were managed. Prior experience at SAGEM Communications from September 1995 to October 2008 involved leading R&D projects and managing teams in software development. Philippe’s educational background includes an engineering degree from ESME, école d'ingénieurs généraliste, completed between 1989 and 1994.
