Serigne Dia has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Serigne began their career in 2003 at Ultra Electronics Group as a Professional of Research. In 2006, they worked as an Application Engineer at MathStar. In 2008, they joined ZTE Corporation as an Account Manager. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Sales Account Manager at Oberthur Technologies, covering North, West, and Central Africa. Serigne then progressed to Sales Director for Africa at Oberthur Technologies from 2014 to 2015, and later became the Business Director for Africa in 2016. In 2017, they transitioned to IDEMIA as the Strategic Sales Director for Africa, a position they held until February 2019. Currently, Serigne is working at IDEMIA as the Vice President of Strategic Sales for the Middle East and Africa, focusing on Financial Institutions.

Serigne Dia completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Microelectronic at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2000 to 2003. After that, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at École de technologie supérieure.
