Tom Gruschus is a seasoned software engineering professional with over 30 years of experience in the development of biometric systems and software solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at IDEMIA since January 2009, Tom directs multiple teams and oversees the rapid prototyping of software that is deployed in Apple's AppStore, Google's Play, and to various clients. Previous experiences include roles as Software Engineering Manager and Principal Software Engineer at IDEMIA, as well as positions at Motorola, Printrak International Inc, and McDonnell Douglas. Tom's expertise encompasses large-scale biometric matching systems, highly scalable concurrent strategies, and the use of distributed methodologies for time-sensitive processing, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton.
