Rob Clausing

Rob Clausing has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Rob is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at IdenTrust, Inc. from September 2021 onwards. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Sphera Solutions from January 2021 to September 2021.

From 2015 to 2020, Rob worked at O.C. Tanner as the Director of Software Engineering and Enterprise Services. In this role, they led engineering teams in designing and building SaaS offerings, custom software, and modernizing technology stacks. Rob also implemented Agile practices and collaborated closely with executives and product management.

Before joining O.C. Tanner, Rob was a Manager of Software Engineering at the same company from 2005 to 2015. During this time, they managed software engineering teams, implemented Agile practices, and created services by decomposing existing software.

Prior to their managerial roles, Rob worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2004 to 2005 at O.C. Tanner, where they led the development of Java applications and implemented RFID technologies for LEAN manufacturing.

Earlier in their career, Rob served as a Senior Software Engineer at Bausch & Lomb from 2002 to 2004, where they developed interactive ophthalmic software for Lasik surgery planning and led a team of engineers.

From 2000 to 2002, Rob worked as a Software Consultant and Business Owner at DSR, Inc. Here, they built custom software, managed partner operations, and handled sales and contract negotiation.

Rob started their career as a Software Engineer at Daifuku America in 1994. Rob built, configured, installed, and maintained Automated Material Handling system software using C and Object Pascal (Delphi).
