Andrew Sharp, PhD

Andrew Sharp, PhD has over a decade of work experience in various roles related to data science. Andrew has worked as a Chief Technology Officer and Lead Data Scientist at IDENX starting from 2022. Prior to this, they were a Vice President Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase from 2021 to 2022. Andrew worked for the U.S. Government in roles such as Senior Data Scientist, Data Scientist and Systems Engineer from 2011 to 2020. Andrew also has experience as an Experiment/Test Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories in 2009 and 2010.

Andrew Sharp, PhD, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University in 2009. In 2011, they earned a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the same university. Andrew then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computational Science and Informatics, specializing in Computational Finance, from George Mason University in 2016. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained three certifications: C100DEV: MongoDB Certified Developer Associate Exam from MongoDB University in 2017, Fundamentals of Engineering from the State of Texas in 2009, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020.
