Michael Chanover

Michael Chanover is an accomplished design leadership advisor with extensive experience in developing design teams, products, and experiences. Currently self-employed since March 2019, Michael also serves as an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts and an advisory board member at IDEO U. Previously, Michael held notable executive roles, including Vice President of Design at Khan Academy, where responsibilities encompassed product design and user experience research, and at NerdWallet, leading a design organization of approximately 35 members. Previous positions include Vice President of Design at Shopkick, Chief Creative Officer at Fingerprint, and Vice President of User Experience at Kidlandia. Michael's academic background includes a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, with additional coursework at Brown University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
