Kim Lawrence

Kim Lawrence is a highly experienced professional with a career spanning over 30 years. Kim began their career in 1990 as a High School Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. In 1993, they moved to the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce as Communications Manager. Kim then joined the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada in 1994 as Communications Coordinator. In 1995, they became Manager of Marketing and International Projects at MDA (RADARSAT International Inc.). Kim then joined Eastman Kodak Company in 1998 as Manager of Global Marketing Communications. In 2005, Kim joined the University of the Fraser Valley as Director of Marketing and Communications. Kim then moved to the University of Calgary in 2010 as Associate Vice-President of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives and Acting Vice-President of University Relations. In 2019, Kim joined Chicory Consultants Co. as Principal. Most recently, they have been VP Talent and Customer Experience at Ideon Technologies since 2020.

Kim Lawrence's education history includes a Mining and Mineral Resources: A Systems Overview degree from Queen's University in 2021, a Digital Marketing Bootcamp from Alacrity Canada in 2020-2021, a Dip. APMCP (McRae Institute of International Management) from Capilano University, a B.A. (Hons) from Queen's University, and a Dipl.
