William Xu

William Xu has held a variety of positions in the geophysics industry since 2009. William began their career as a Research Lab Assistant at the University of Waterloo. In 2010, they worked as a Student Geophysicist for CNOOC (China National Offshore Oil Corp) and a Geophysics Co-op Student for the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Geology and Geophysics. In 2011, they joined Quantec Geoscience Ltd. as a Junior Geophysicist. In 2016, they moved to Beijing Roadplus Technology as a Business Development Consultant. In 2017, they were a Consultant for Beijing Champion JY Technology Co.,Ltd. In 2019, they became a Marketing Consultant for Dias Geophysical and Dias Airborne. In 2021, they joined Geotech Ltd. as a Processing Geophysicist. Most recently, in 2023, they became a Project Geophysicist for Ideon Technologies.

William Xu attended China University of Geosciences (Beijing) from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a B.Sc in Geophysics. William then attended the University of Waterloo from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc). William also attended Yangzhou, but no further information is provided.
