Daan Hittema is a seasoned business development leader with extensive experience in the healthtech and innovation sectors. Currently serving as the Business Development Leader Europe and MedTech Venture Builder at IDE Group since June 2023, Daan also founded Hittema Consultancy in February 2019. Prior roles include strategic business development at Pezy Group, where initiatives involved enhancing organizational foundations for growth, managing marketing, and securing funding for healthtech ventures. Additional experience spans consulting on healthcare transformation at Philips Benelux, and co-founding Fysicos LLC, an olive oil start-up aimed at mitigating economic challenges in Greece. Daan holds a Master's degree in Strategic Product Design from Delft University of Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Product Design & Engineering from De Haagse Hogeschool.
