Eric Siu

Eric Siu has a diverse work experience in design and entrepreneurship. Eric has worked as a Technical Lead of Design at IDE Group since July 2020, where they have been leading creative, technical, and research teams. Prior to this role, they served as a Design & Entrepreneurship Leader at IDE Group from June 2018, where they led teams to prove product feasibility, viability, and desirability. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Product Developer at IDE Group since November 2014, specializing in front-end insights gathering and product concept development.

Before joining IDE Group, Eric worked as a Freelance Designer, focusing on design, products, and branding. Eric also worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at Vert Design from March 2012 to November 2013, working on various projects such as developing new products and systems for clients.

At the beginning of their career, Eric worked at IDE Group as a Senior Designer from 2010 to 2012, where they developed medical and consumer products. Prior to that, they worked as an Industrial Designer at IDE Group from 2006 to 2010, focusing on conceptual and detail design for consumer and medical products.

Eric Siu completed a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design at the University of Technology Sydney from 2000 to 2005. From 2012 to 2013, they earned a Custom Made Footwear Certificate I & II at TAFE NSW, specializing in Fashion/Apparel Design.
