Director - Drug Delivery Systems And Manufacturing at IDE Group

Morgan James has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Student Manufacturing Engineer at ResMed and later became a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer. In 2008, they joined S2F as a Student Mechanical Engineer. They returned to ResMed in 2010 as a Student Manufacturing Engineer. At BMDi TUTA Healthcare, Morgan held two roles, first as an Innovations Engineer, where they conducted sales analysis and managed the design and supply chain for new products. Later, they became the Supply Chain Manager, developing systems for forecasting, inventory management, and market intelligence. At ICU Medical, Morgan served as an Integration Project Manager and APAC Project Manager, responsible for integrating acquired businesses and updating ERP systems. They also founded Medevex, where they provided consulting services to medical device start-ups and educational institutions. Currently, Morgan is working at IDE Group as the Manufacturing Director and Director of Drug Delivery Systems and Manufacturing, where they lead business units, develop and commercialize drug delivery technologies, and provide manufacturing strategy and services.

Morgan James obtained an MBA (Executive) degree from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) between 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2010, Morgan completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree, along with a Diploma in Engineering Practice, at the University of Technology Sydney. The field of study for this degree was engineering.
