Erica Young

Erica Young is a Senior Instructional Designer and Communication Instructor with experience in online learning since 2009. They have held various leadership roles, including Director of Educational Technology and Executive Director of Online Learning, where they managed large-scale course design projects and facilitated faculty training. Erica currently serves as a Lead Learning Architect at iDesign, collaborating with subject-matter experts and university administrators to develop online courses. They hold a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University and an M.S. Ed. in Instructional Design and Technology from Purdue University. Passionate about creating effective learning environments, Erica teaches writing and speaking courses aimed at enhancing communication skills among future scientists.
