Law Burks has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Law has held leadership positions in various industries, including engineering, agriculture, healthcare, packaging, and manufacturing. Most recently, Law served as President of IDEX Corporation's Energy division, overseeing a group of five energy market businesses. Prior to IDEX, they were President of Banjo Corporation, a world-class producer of valves and pumps for agricultural and industrial applications. Law also held the role of President of Agriculture Technology & Banjo, where they focused on precision agriculture. Before their time at IDEX, Law was President of US Forming & Shoring at BrandSafway and held executive positions at ITW, including VP & GM of Commercial Construction NA and VP & GM of ITW Medical Products. Law also gained valuable experience at Cardinal Health and Alcan, where they managed marketing and product management responsibilities. In the earlier stages of their career, Law worked at Vulcanium Corporation as a Plant Manager and served as a Manufacturing Advisor at Avon. Law began their professional journey in the US Air Force, where they held the rank of Captain. Law's extensive experience demonstrates their expertise in P&L responsibility, strategy, sales, marketing, operations, and leadership across multiple industries.

Law Burks obtained a BSIM/IE degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University Daniels School of Business in 1989. Later, from 1997 to 2000, Law earned an MBA degree with a focus on Finance & Marketing from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. In 1998, Law also obtained the CPIM certification from APICS. In 2009, Law attended an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School.
