Michelle Disher

Michelle Disher has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Michelle most recently worked at IDEX Corporation as the Director F&S - NA HR Business Optimization. Prior to that, they were the Human Resource Manager at IDEX Fire & Safety. Michelle also served as a Human Resources Manager at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where they were responsible for all aspects of HR, including labor relations, compliance, recruitment, and retention. Before that, they were the Director of Human Resources at C.A. Short Company, where they specialized in developing employee recognition programs. Michelle started their career as a Human Resources Representative at South Carolina Federal Credit Union, providing generalist support to 350 employees.

Michelle Disher, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University, which they obtained in 2002. Michelle also earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Coastal Carolina University in 1999. In addition to their educational background, Michelle has obtained certifications including Certified SLII Trainer from The Blanchard Group and SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM.
