Quan Liu

Quan Liu is a seasoned Senior Chemical Engineer at IDEX HEALTH & SCIENCE LLC since May 2006, with a strong focus on gas/liquid separation technologies for high flow Preparative HPLC applications. Key accomplishments include inventing a gas/liquid separation module and co-inventing a Carbon Nanotube/polymer composite material for such applications, alongside managing the company's Intellectual Property portfolio. Previous roles include serving as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Minnesota, where research involved diffusion through patterned metal/polymer composites and the modification of pressure swing adsorption systems. Quan Liu began a career in research as a Research Assistant at Tulane University, working on permeation experiments and polymer nanocomposites. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Sichuan University.
